Raed Arafat, the man who heads the Department for Emergency Situations, has a very important message for the citizens of Romania made with the idea of convincing Romanians to stay at home on Easter and not visit their friends, relatives, in order not to risk to infect himself or them.
The message coming from Raed Arafat is not new, we have seen it from many politicians during this period, and it is something that everyone is trying to say in unison so that the peak of the Coronavirus epidemic in Romania does not bring a huge increase in the number of cases, and the restriction measures should be lifted as soon as possible.
"Only a few hours separate us from the moment when, with emotion in our voices, we will say Christ is Risen! For many of us it is perhaps the first time that we will celebrate in a different way this moment of great significance for all Christians, the Holy Feast of Easter.
We are living through difficult times, but that doesn't mean we have to give up the fight. Through our strength to conquer in any situation, strength deeply rooted in our Romanian origins, let's this time, let's stay at home and pass on to our loved ones, precisely this strength, to show them that together we will be able to overcome this difficult moment for all.
We will stay at home these days, so that soon we can embrace, without fear, without reservations, the people dear to our soul.
- Spend Easter only with those family members with whom you normally live.
- Avoid visiting relatives, whether they are in the same town as you or live in another town/municipality.
- Do not visit or receive guests during the Easter holidays.
