Warning of the Romanian Police regarding the traffic in the state of alert

Warning of the Romanian Police scooters

Today, the Romanian Police has a warning for drivers who drive on public roads during this period, and reminds them of the fact that a lot of people riding scooters have started to appear on the roads again, and as you well know, you have to be vigilant at them.

The Romanian Police also warns scooterists not to have scooters that have speeds higher than 25 km/h, not to drive on roads where the maximum speed exceeds 50 km/h, and this is because they risk fines from the authorities.

"The text has nothing to do with the canine character in the image, we just hope it will have many shares, the message being very important!

We draw attention to the fact that with the establishment of the state of alert, electric scooters have returned to road traffic.

Let's not forget that since the beginning of the year, this means of travel is regulated by law, as follows:

  • the speed of the vehicle used should not exceed 25 km/h.
  • the scooter must be equipped with lighting and reflective inserts for use at night.
  • is prohibited for those under 14 years of age, and those between 14 and 16 years of age must wear a protective helmet.
  • they can no longer be driven on the pavement, except for those that are provided with a special track.
  • only on roads where the maximum permitted speed for vehicles is 50 km/h.
  • it is forbidden to transport passengers on electric scooters!
  • stopping and parking electric scooters will be done on the road side, they must be placed next to or parallel to the edge of the road side, and not on the sidewalk.

We ask that you take these rules seriously!

Good weekend everybody!"
