Ministry of Health: How many asymptomatic patients, but infected with COVID-19, were discharged

Ministry of Health asymptomatic discharges

The Ministry of Health has updated the list with the number of people infected with COVID-19, but asymptomatic, who were released from hospitals as a result of the CCR decision that prevents them from being forced to stay in hospitals, the same being true for those who have symptoms.

The Ministry of Health says that so far 1.393 patients infected with COVID-19, but asymptomatic in the first 10 days after detection, have been discharged, but there are many others who have left even though they have symptoms, and all because the doctors cannot forced to stay in hospitals.

The Ministry of Health does not provide a list of those who have left the quarantine centers, or who are no longer obliged to stay in isolation at home, but before the publication in the Official Gazette of the CCR decision, there were over 35.000 people in this situation.

"Until today, July 7, on the territory of Romania, 29.620 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 21.927 were discharged, including 20.534 cured patients and 1.393 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection."
