Black Hole: AMAZING Discovery made by Researchers

Black holes hidden by researchers until they were recently discovered, here are how many dozens were hiding in the universe and were detected only now.

The black hole in our galaxy is the one about which we know the most information until now, but researchers are analyzing the universe with great interest to discover others that are hidden. Based on the research done so far, no less than 28 black holes have been discovered hidden in the universe, they have been classified by other researchers as distant galaxies, when in reality they were something else entirely.

The black holes discovered by the researchers are supermassive, that is, they have a mass that is billions of times greater than that of our sun, and they are still in the process of formation, not having the accretion disk completely completed. Researchers have had trouble correctly classifying these black holes because of the hot material that spins into these black holes, the process reducing the level of luminosity they emit into the universe.

The black holes discovered now were "hiding" in full view of the researchers, without being visible to them because of the hot materials around them, but finally they managed to observe them and classify them as they should. This is one of the largest numbers of black holes that have been discovered so far by researchers, and this is news that surprised many people, although it is not the largest number so far.

"We like to say we found these giant black holes, but they were really there. All 28 of the objects are supermassive black holes, billions of times the mass of our sun. And they all go through a stage of development where they are enveloped in a dark bubble of dust and other materials. Those cocoons obscure the bright X-rays emitted by the hot material swirling around their event horizons, the point of no return for unfaithful matter, making them appear fainter than they really are.”

The black holes were discovered using the Chandra telescope, which is normally used to detect such objects, but it took a lot of work to detect them and classify them correctly, instead of galaxies. The 28 new black holes that have now been discovered join 67 that were previously discovered by researchers, so we are talking about a very large combination of such objects that have been observed.

Black holes are very difficult to find due to the fact that they do not emit light in such a way that they can be detected as a star or a planet, so sometimes "mistakes" of this kind appear in what concerns them.
