The Ministry of Health has announced that the number of beds for intensive care will be increased in the immediate period after reaching almost half of the capacity of the medical system in Romania to treat patients.
The Ministry of Health must increase the number of intensive care beds in areas where there are many cases of infection, and this is because the current over 800 are distributed throughout the country, and in the areas with many infections, saturation has already been reached.
The Ministry of Health is preparing several dozen new beds in some counties in Romania where there are already many confirmed cases, and the number will increase as needed, but the procedure is difficult because there are few fully equipped beds in the country.
