DIGI Mobil: BAD news for MILLIONS of Romanian Customers

DIGI Mobil came with very bad news for millions of customers from all over the country, here is what the telecommunications operator announced for everyone.

DIGI Mobile restrictions

DIGI Mobile is one of the largest telecommunications operators in Romania, but unfortunately very bad news has come for many of its clients, and we are talking about something that will surely upset many people. More precisely, the people from DIGI Mobil announced some time ago that from May 1, the conditions under which some international phone calls are charged will change, as well as those in which international minutes are granted for certain countries.

DIGI Mobile then he announced to his clients that the rates for mobile phone calls to the main European countries will drop from 0.02 euros per minute to 0.012 euros per minute, that is, almost by half. This means that all those who used DIGI Mobil to call in various countries in Europe, without having minutes in their subscriptions, will be able to ask for almost 2 times more for the same money that they paid until now with the telecommunications operator in Romania .

DIGI Mobil: BAD news for MILLIONS of Romanian Customers

DIGI Mobile however, it makes another worse change, so that from May 21 international minutes offered for some European countries will be less than at the moment, so the "unlimited" disappears. DIGI Mobil says that in the case of Germany (Vodafone), Great Britain (EE), Austria (T-Mobile), Spain (Digi Spain), France (SFR, Free Mobile), Hungary (Digi Hungary), Belgium (Proximus, Orange) , Greece (Vodafone, Wind), this offer is being modified, and Romanians will no longer be able to make unlimited calls to the phone numbers of these networks.

DIGI Mobile gave customers the opportunity to cancel their mobile phone subscriptions 30 days after the changes were announced, if people read the notices sent to them. The situation is interesting because DIGI Mobil has increased its customer base in Romania precisely because it offers unlimited in everything, but in the case of certain countries and certain mobile phone operators, the unlimited still needs to be limited due to the very high consumption.

DIGI Mobile it still remains the telecommunications operator in Romania with the lowest prices for the subscriptions it offers to customers, so there are no real alternatives to it.
