BANCA Transilvania recently updated the BT Pay application for mobile phones, and as a very good surprise, decided to offer the possibility that it can also be used by NFC phones, i.e. the cheapest ones on the market.
BANK Transilvania has not yet allowed the use of BT Pay on phones without NFC, which is normal since mobile payments involve the use of this system, even if it is not accessible on the iPhone. Well, starting from now, even those with cheap phones, without NFC, can use the BT Pay application from BANCA Transilvania for a variety of functions, many of them not so important, but that matters less, in the end.

BANK Transilvania limits the functionality of the BT Pay application on these phone models only to balance checks, money transfers, online payment confirmation, etc. Of course, nothing else could be offered in the application since there is no NFC functionality, so BANCA Transilvania offers its customers only what can actually be used on their phones, which do not benefit from all the latest technologies.

BANK Transilvania created the BT Pay application to allow its customers in Romania to make mobile payments with their phones, but without NFC this is not possible, unfortunately for many. Only the very cheap phones do not have NFC integrated by the manufacturers, and here we are talking about many that cost less than 1000 LEI, at full price, so there is no rush for BANCA Transilvania to provide support for them since the number of users it was probably limited.
