Those from Telekom first announced that they are offering a 50% discount for 3 months for their Wi-Fi internet solution without cables, the one launched last year in Romania, but not without too many headaches.

Telekom allows Romanian customers to benefit from the Internet at home through a cellular data connection, not through a connectivity to its fiber optic infrastructure, but all without running cables through the house to benefit from the Internet. Smart WiFi is a very good solution for those who don't want holes, but not high-speed internet, and that's because Telekom has one of the slowest internet speeds in Romania, especially in homes.

Telekom praises its Smart WiFi solution as being voted the product of the year in Romania in 2019, and this after it was sanctioned by CNA for falsely promoting the way in which customers could benefit from it. Telekom does not specify very clearly that in order to benefit from this system, customers had to either use a standard router, or pay 700 LEI to benefit from the pompous router presented in the company's advertisement.

Telekom still says that its Smart WiFi service was voted the product of the year in Romania, even if we are still talking about a solution that is not exactly the best solution for those who want fast internet. The lack of holes and cables is something that attracts a lot of attention among customers, but unfortunately this does not benefit the speed side, where things are not so good for customers who need fast internet.
