Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from September 2, 2020

Coronavirus Romania New Cases September 2

The Corona virus pandemic continues in Romania, yesterday being a slightly smaller number of cases, in relation to the reports during the working days of the previous week, but this does not mean that today we will not exceed the record set last week in terms of infections.

However, two negative and extremely worrying records were recorded yesterday, the highest number of deaths in a single day, but also the highest number of people hospitalized in intensive care, two numbers that should scare many Romanians, more elected that the medical system is seriously under pressure.

Unfortunately, in the following weeks new increases in the number of cases of infection with the new Coronavirus are announced in Romania, especially since restaurants, theaters, cinemas, and other activities have reopened, and in the middle of the month schools reopen, and at the end local elections take place this month.

"Until today, September 2, on the territory of Romania, 89.891 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

38.701 patients were declared cured and 11.392 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.298 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
