The coronavirus remains a very big problem for Romania, the number of cases is constantly increasing in our country, yesterday still high values ​​were recorded, especially for certain counties in the country, which raises many problems for all those who respect the protection measures .

The number of deaths remains high, as does the number of people admitted to intensive care, a county registering an accelerated increase in deaths due to the new Coronavirus, which of course scared some people, but this had been anticipated by the authorities .

Unfortunately, an even more difficult period is coming in the fight against the new Coronavirus, and this is because restaurants have been reopened, schools will be reopened, and it is expected that the number of cases will continue to grow at a sustained rate in the next period in Our country.

"Until today, September 9, on the territory of Romania, 98.304 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

41.002 patients were declared cured and 12.557 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.271 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. To date, 4.018 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

Between 08.09.2020 (10:00) and 09.09.2020 (10:00) 51 deaths (32 men and 19 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Alba, Bacău, Bihor, were recorded , Bistrita-Năsăud, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iasi, Maramureș, Mureș, Olt, Prahova, Suceava, Vaslui, Ilfov and the Municipality of Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 30-39 years, 4 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 2 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 9 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 21 deaths in the 70-79 age category and 14 deaths in the over 80 age category.

49 of the registered deaths are of patients who presented comorbidities, and for 2 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported to date.

In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7.137. Of these, 459 are hospitalized at ATI.

Until this date, at the national level, 1.990.587 tests have been processed. Of these, 24.043 were performed in the last 24 hours, 15.142 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 8.901 on request.

Also, since the last information provided by GCS, the results of 254 tests processed prior to the last 24 hours and transmitted until September 9 have been reported.

On the territory of Romania, 10.215 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 6.035 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 34.412 people are in home quarantine, and 11 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
