The Government of Romania: The important message for Romanians before the start of school

Government of Romania Message Start of School

The Romanian government, through the Prime Minister, Ludovic Orban, sends an important message to all Romanians in the country before school starts, one that should give people confidence before a difficult period begins in our country, unfortunately.

The Romanian government was supposed to allow the reopening of schools, but this could bring an increase in the number of illnesses with the new Coronavirus, as the Minister of Health told us, so it remains to be seen how the situation will evolve in the coming weeks at the national level.

"I have faith in Romanian teachers, I have faith in the education system in Romania. We have been in permanent communication with school inspectorates, with DSPs, school principals, with representatives of local authorities, so that we take all measures to protect children's health. And parents have to trust.

The start of the school year is a must. And so, for 4 months classes were online in an adaptation that generated a situation where it is necessary to start schools. Any parent who loves their child knows that every student needs the educational process. It is fundamental to the development of every child.

The decision to start the school year was clear from my point of view. Of course there are fears, various aspects that are not perfect, have not yet been worked out in detail. Any aspect can be fixed.

We left it up to the school boards to decide how to start school."
