Telekom: A GREAT surprise for Customers from ALL over Romania

Telekom is at the center of a great news that comes as a very good surprise for customers from all over Romania, here is what was revealed about the operator.

telecom tested

Telekom is one of the largest telecommunications operators in all of Romania, with many subscribers throughout the country, and for all of them there is great news today, one that most likely many will enjoy. As you already know very well, the people from Orange conducted a performance test of its network this year, this being carried out with the help of Ookla, the company that owns speedtest, and there is good news for Telekom customers.

Telekom, according to the tests carried out by Ookla, is placed above Vodafone when it comes to the 4G coverage it offers in Romania on the mobile phone side, which is a very good surprise. Telekom has more areas in Romania that are covered by the 4G network than Vodafone, as you can see below, and this despite having much better offers than its direct competitor.

Telekom tested coverage

Telekom it does not surpass Orange in terms of the 4G coverage it offers, at least according to those from Ookla, but it surpasses Vodafone, which has much higher prices for the services it offers. Telekom has a vast infrastructure "inherited" from Cosmote, and improved every year, so the results are visible, surpassing Vodafone's being an achievement of which those who run the company should be very proud.

Telekom, interestingly, is presented in the graph (right side) above as having a greater coverage than Vodafone's when it comes to the entire infrastructure, surpassing even DIGI, including in terms of 4G availability. The results of those from Telekom are impressive, and show that the investments of hundreds of millions of euros made in the 4G network have seen their effects, and of course this should also bring a very good experience for customers.

Telekom continues to invest in the 4G network it has in Romania, and will continue investing in the 5G network, that is of course if it does not leave Romania in the meantime, and sells the mobile division to those from DIGI.
