Coronavirus Romania New Cases Cured October 3

This week there were two records of new cases of Coronavirus in Romania, and we are talking about a very worrying growing trend that is being registered in our country, some experts saying that now we can see the first effects of the reopening of schools in our country.

The numbers of deaths and people admitted to intensive care are also increasing this week, everything shows that the Corona virus pandemic is again gaining momentum in our country, even though the authorities say that "the situation is under control" and that the state of emergency will not come back

It is necessary for everyone to respect the protection and social distancing measures during this period, and this is because the authorities expect the number of daily cases to exceed 3000, and the hospitals are already overcrowded with patients, so there will not be any for people .

"Until today, October 3, on the territory of Romania, 134.065 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (Covid-19).

 107.058 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 2.064 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. To date, 4.947 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

Between 02.10.2020 (10:00) - 03.10.2020 (10:00) 32 deaths (18 men and 14 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in hospitals in Alba, Bacău, Bihor, were recorded , Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iasi, Mehedinți, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 30-39 years, 2 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 4 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 7 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 10 deaths in the 70-79 age category and 8 deaths in the over 80 age category.

All registered deaths are of patients who had comorbidities.

In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7.734. Of these, 583 are hospitalized at ATI.

Until this date, at the national level, 2.496.439 tests have been processed. Of these, 24.847 were performed in the last 24 hours, 15.455 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 9.392 on request.

Also, since the last information provided by the GCS, the results of 93 tests processed prior to the last 24 hours and transmitted until October 3 have been reported.

On the territory of Romania, 10.817 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 7.516 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 23.237 people are in home quarantine, and 28 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

 In the last 24 hours, 1.499 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 843 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 1.829 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 302.740 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 2 crimes were found yesterday for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.

We remind citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs operationalized, starting on 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection rules can be reported.

The calls are taken by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for verification of the reported aspects.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 6.702 Romanian citizens have been confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.917 in Italy, 1.253 in Spain, 124 in France, 2.935 in Germany, 159 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 120 in Austria, 20 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 7 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 7 in the United Arab Emirates and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of Congo, Hungary and Qatar. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 733 were declared cured: 613 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia."
