Coronavirus Romania: New Cases from October 12, 2020

Coronavirus Romania Cases October 12

After a week of records, today we will have a smaller number of new cases of the Coronavirus, and this is because not many tests were processed on Sunday, so theoretically, less than 2000 cases should be announced by the Romanian authorities.

The number of people hospitalized in intensive care and deaths could still increase because, unfortunately, both statistics are influenced by people infected with the Coronavirus in the past, and already in hospitals, so we hope that large numbers will not be recorded.

The authorities in Romania continue to strongly ask Romanians to protect themselves against an infection with the new Coronavirus, and we hope that this will happen because things are starting to seriously get out of control, and will become much worse in the coming weeks.

"Until today, October 12, on the territory of Romania, 157.352 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

118.912 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 2.069 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
