COVID-19 Romania DEATH RECORD 28 October

The COVID-19 pandemic in Romania brings us today a new negative record in terms of deaths, 107 in number, a huge number, only slightly higher than the record of the past few days, but we are talking about the second time when the number of 1000 is exceeded of deaths in a single day.

Unfortunately, a 4-month-old baby died after being infected with COVID-19, and this shows us that absolutely no one is safe from death when it comes to an infection with this new extremely dangerous virus for any kind of people, regardless of age.

"Between 27.10.2020 (10:00) - 28.10.2020 (10:00) 107 deaths (60 men and 47 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Alba, Arad, Bacău, were reported , Bistrita-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Calarasi, Caraș-Severin, Constanta, Covasna, Dolj, Galati, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iasi, Maramureș, Mureș, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Vaslui and the Municipality Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was registered in the 0-9 years age category, 2 in the 30-39 years age category, 7 deaths were registered in the 40-49 years age category, 17 deaths in the 50-59 age category of years, 16 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 38 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 26 deaths in the category over 80 years.

100 of the registered deaths are of patients who presented comorbidities, 1 deceased patient did not present comorbidities and for 6 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported to date."
