Unfortunately, yesterday we registered a new record of cases of Coronavirus in Romania, it comes with a very large increase compared to the figures recorded during the past days, and as the testing capacity increases, we can expect the number of confirmations as well daily to grow.
Records are set almost daily for the number of people admitted to intensive care, while the number of deaths caused by the Coronavirus continues to rise, with the authorities confirming that things will get much worse in the coming weeks.
The Minister of Health said that there are a few very difficult weeks ahead in the Coronavirus pandemic, so it is possible to see new restrictive measures imposed by the authorities, without a total quarantine being imposed in Romania, so you don't have to be afraid of that something.

Until today, October 30, on the territory of Romania, 235.586 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.
167.897 patients were declared cured.
Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 6.546 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Until today, 6.867 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 29.10.2020 (10:00) and 30.10.2020 (10:00) 103 deaths (64 men and 39 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in hospitals in Alba, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrita-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Buzău, Calarasi, Cluj, Constanta, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galati, Harghita, Iasi, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and the City of Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was registered in the 30-39 age category, 3 deaths were registered in the 40-49 age category, 13 deaths in the 50-59 age category, 30 deaths in the 60 age category -69 years, 30 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 26 deaths in the category over 80 years.
100 of the registered deaths are of patients who presented comorbidities, and 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.
In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 11.236. Of these, 917 are hospitalized at ATI.
Up to this date, at the national level, 3.206.567 tests have been processed. Of these, 36.335 were performed in the last 24 hours, 22.342 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 13.993 on request.
Also, since the last information provided by the GCS, the results of 254 tests processed prior to the last 24 hours and transmitted until October 30 have been reported.
On the territory of Romania, 28.762 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 11.253 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 53.050 people are in home quarantine, and 15 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
