Romanian Government: New restrictions announced for all Romanian citizens

The Romanian government restricts Romanian citizens

The Government of Romania, through the Prime Minister, will impose a new series of restrictions in Romania starting from the following period, the most important of which is the obligation to wear a protective mask everywhere in the counties where the incidence rate exceeds 1.5 per 1000 inhabitants , instead of 3 per 1000 inhabitants.

The Romanian government imposes new controls on inter- and intra-county means of public transport because the protection measures would not be respected, and separately from this, there is discussion about prohibiting travel between 22:00 and 06:00, including the closing of parks between the same hours .

The Romanian government is also discussing with large companies to allow their employees to work from home, or to come to work at different times, all with the idea of not congesting public transport, a main source of infection, according to some experts.

The Romanian government is taking these measures because two weeks after the introduction of the quarantine, and of some harsher measures, in certain areas, the Coronavirus pandemic is spreading even more strongly, so even more serious measures are needed to limit its spread .

The Romanian government announced other measures that were imposed in Bucharest through CMSU.
