Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured November 13

The situation of the Corona virus pandemic continues to be very serious, even though the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, has stated that a ceiling has been reached in terms of the increase in the number of new cases, and that the authorities would have at least managed to stop the rampant spread of the virus through the country .

For now, this does not affect the large number of daily deaths, but also of people hospitalized in intensive care, which continue to grow in a way that seems unstoppable, the medical system in Romania being close to being overwhelmed by the very large number of sick people.

New restrictions will not be imposed for Romanian citizens for the time being, the authorities asking the population to respect the measures that have been announced so far, but if the daily number of cases continues to increase, it is possible to see other restrictive measures imposed.

"Until today, November 13, on the territory of Romania, 343.725 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

231.808 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 9.489 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Distinct from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 2.358 people were reconfirmed positive.

Until today, 8.684 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 12.11.2020 (10:00) and 13.11.2020 (10:00) 174 deaths (100 men and 74 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Romania Prahova, Sibiu, Sălaj, Suceava, Timiș, Teleorman, Vrancea and Vaslui.

Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 20-29 years, 1 death was registered in the age category 30-39 years, 5 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 18 deaths in the category of age 50-59 years, 39 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 66 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 44 deaths in the category over 80 years.

168 of the registered deaths are of patients who presented comorbidities, and 6 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12.892. Of these, 1.149 are hospitalized at ATI.

Up to this date, at the national level, 3.630.856 tests have been processed. Of these, 37.136 were performed in the last 24 hours, 22.169 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 14.967 on request.

On the territory of Romania, 47.681 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 13.141 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 78.569 people are in home quarantine, and 19 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 4.556 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 831 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 12 this year, 8.778 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 1.418.195 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 3 crimes were found yesterday for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code."
