Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from November 19, 2020

Coronavirus Romania New Cases, Cures from November 19, 2020

Yesterday we had a new record of infections regarding the Coronavirus pandemic in Romania, and this despite the assurances given by the authorities regarding the fact that things are beginning to be under some control, the reality being completely different from what they say

The number of deaths continues to be high, unfortunately, as well as the number of those hospitalized in intensive care, but here the Romanian Government has announced an increase of 200 beds in the hospitalization capacity, so we should not see such high numbers again close to the maximum limit.

On the other hand, the authorities are still trying to convince Romanians from all over the country to better protect themselves against infections with the new Coronavirus, but unfortunately this is very difficult to achieve at the moment, as many of you well know .

"Until today, November 19, on the territory of Romania, 393.851 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

269.590 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 10.108 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.

*Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Below you have the graph made based on the reports received by the CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:
