"The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) announces that 4 more notifications from Romania, regarding alerts of non-compliant masks on the market, have been taken over by the Rapid Alert System for non-food products of the European Union - RAPEX.
"The Directorate of Market Control and Supervision within the ANPC demonstrated once again that it is dedicated to serving the citizen. Even more so in this period marked by the pandemic, we consider it our duty to show increased attention, especially to the products that are indispensable at this time. Through the alerts that ANPC issues on behalf of our country, Romania contributes to protecting European consumers, in the face of dangerous products that may enter the EU market," said Eduardt Cozminschi, President of ANPC.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy, during this entire period, ANPC permanently supervised the market of special protective products, a process that will continue until the pandemic danger is over.

ANPC warns, in this way, the economic operators in the field that, before introducing such products for sale, consult the websites of ANPC and that of the European Commission to make sure that they do not appear in the chapter "prohibited products commercialization". "
