Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from November 20, 2020

Coronavirus Romania New Cases Cured November 20

The Coronavirus Pandemic in Romania seems to have really entered a plateau phase, and this is because we no longer see an increase from just over 10.000 new daily cases, although this figure is really huge, and very problematic from all points of view.

Almost 150 deaths are recorded daily, or even more, and the number of people admitted to intensive care after infection with the new Coronavirus has not dropped below 1100 for some time, and things will get much worse in the coming months.

The authorities refuse to impose a national quarantine due to the Corona virus pandemic, they try to convince the Romanians to respect the protection measures, but unfortunately not always and they manage to carry out everything they set out to do from this point of view.

"Until today, November 20, on the territory of Romania, 403.123 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

278.676 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 9.272 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.

*Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Below you have the graph made based on the reports received by the CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:
