DIGI Mobile is one of the largest telecommunications operators in all of Romania at the moment, having millions of customers throughout the country, its base constantly growing from month to month. DIGI Mobil customers have a rather annoying problem at the moment, more precisely, the one regarding mobile internet speeds, which are somewhat satisfactory in larger cities, and unsatisfactory in smaller cities, which makes many people unhappy.
DIGI Mobile solved the problem of the signal inside the buildings, and in many areas bordering the cities in the country, but unfortunately it has not yet managed to solve the problem of mobile internet speeds, which remain very low. The people from DIGI Mobil started to create a 5G network in Romania, which offers mobile internet speeds even more than 10 times higher than the current ones, but unfortunately the investments in the 5G network were stopped because of the Romanian Government.
DIGI Mobil: THE PROBLEM for MILLIONS of Customers in Romania
DIGI Mobile has the most extensive 5G network in Romania at the moment, and it would probably have been available in many more locations if the Romanian Government had made a decision regarding Huawei, and the auction for 5G frequencies. It is not only DIGI Mobil whose investments in 5G are blocked by this indecision of the Romanian Government, but also the other operators in our country, and this of course affects their ability to be more competitive on the market.
DIGI Mobile can quickly solve the problem of internet speeds for customers in Romania with the launch of the 5G network, but unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, so the operator doesn't really have anything to do. DIGI Mobil will resume investments in the 5G network after the auction is organized for the frequencies to be used, now the licensed ones for 4G are being used, so we expect much better performance with the new ones.
DIGI Mobile surprised with the large and rapid investments in its 5G network, and it is expected that this will continue in the period following the completion of the auction for the 5G frequencies that will be used in our country.
