FAN Courier issued today an extremely important warning for all Romanians in the country, one that everyone must know about right now, because a phishing attack targets the courier company, but also Romanians who sell various products through the OLX platform.
"Careful! A phishing attack takes place via SMS and targets customers trading products on OLX. If after completing the transaction you receive a link where you are asked for your bank details to receive the value of the products, do not open it.
When selling a product, you receive the money only through the courier company, after the buyer has taken possession of it. We do not have any system where buyers can pay online. Any attempt to request bank details via a link is an attempt at fraud."
