Nelu Tataru also said that she will be vaccinated publicly if this will help the population to have confidence in the vaccine against the Coronavirus, and she will be convinced to do it so as to get rid of a possible infection, and all the problems brought by it.
"If it helps, yes. I will get vaccinated anyway. We can only immunize ourselves through illness or by taking this vaccine. This vaccine, even if it was developed quite quickly, is also safe. We are after years of research into this vaccine science. The evaluation was done on large population samples, on samples that also included patients with comorbidities. Phase III evaluation showed us that they are 95-97% effective.
In the spring we will reach the segment of the general population to be vaccinated. It is the moment when we will see a decrease in the number of cases, but we must understand that this vaccine also has a reminder, that this vaccine has a certain period in which it gives that component of antibodies and will have to be reevaluated in another season to the extent that evolution will continue."
