STS: Announcement regarding the vaccination against the Coronavirus of Romanian citizens

STS Announcement regarding the vaccination of Romanian citizens

STS created the website through which vaccination appointments can be made in Romania, the institution creating the platform that doctors now use, and which companies will soon use to schedule their employees for vaccination against the Coronavirus.

STS explains below and under what conditions Romanian citizens will be able to schedule to be vaccinated, the procedure being different compared to what is currently required for doctors and companies, so it is good to know how everything is thought.

"In the context of the information circulated in the public space regarding the mandatory holding of an electronic signature certificate by citizens to register in the programming platform for vaccination against COVID-19, the STS Press Office makes the following clarifications:

Citizens who are part of stage 3 (General Population) of vaccination will be able to register in the electronic platform, without being conditioned by the possession of a qualified digital certificate (electronic signature). For the general population, both registration in the platform and the actual vaccination are free.

We make it clear that registration on the IT platform by applying the qualified digital certificate is mandatory only for vaccination beneficiaries from stages 1 and 2, who are legal entities and are programmed centrally by the designated managers at the level of each eligible institution.

The application of the electronic signature certifies that the documents uploaded to the system belong to a public or private institution, which is part of the population category that can benefit from vaccination.

We remind you that, according to the Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19, at the moment, appointments and actual vaccination are only available for stage 1 (People included in the category of health and social workers - public and private system).

For Stage 3 (General Population), registrations are not available at this time. Citizens can create an account on the platform, but the actual scheduling option will be active later, after completing the first two stages of vaccination."
