RCS & RDS ends 2020 with great achievements, the telecommunications operator succeeding in having a healthy increase in its customer base and revenues, and at the end of the year it also has a message for customers. After deciding in the last few weeks to offer free access to 4K television stations to customers, those from RCS & RDS decided to make an important announcement regarding the beginning of 2021, which will be 4K for everyone.
RCS & RDS says that in 2021 there will be more competitions that will be able to be seen in 4K format by his clients, but also that as the vaccination continues, it is possible that sports competitions will also return to normal. RCS & RDS says that on January 2, customers from all over Romania will be able to see the matches that Real Madrid and Barcelona play in La Liga, along with, of course, other matches that are transmitted by the operator for us.

RCS & RDS also says that in 2021 there will be many Champions League matches that will be broadcast in 4K format for customers, something that is also very normal, the same happened in 2020. On the other hand, in 2021 those from RCS & RDS says that we will see in 4K format, including tennis matches from the Australian Open, and the Bundesliga will also offer the possibility of watching football matches in this format, in Romania as well.
RCS & RDS it does not say whether the transmissions will be offered via DIGI 4K or Eurosport 4K, but that matters less since both channels are transmitted by the operator via the 4K extra option. Those from RCS & RDS have only two 4K television stations that they offer to Romanian customers, both of which mainly have sports competitions, the operator currently avoiding transmitting other types of high resolution content for customers.
