BANCA Transilvania has a very important announcement with a last-minute change for all customers, it being imposed from January 1, 2021 for Romania.

BANCA Transilvania dynamic

BANK Transilvania he warned all his clients from all over Romania about a last-minute change that affects them without discrimination because we are talking about a measure imposed in all of Romania. More precisely, those from BANCA Transilvania, together with all the other banks in Romania, have warned their customers that starting from January 1st, the online payment confirmation methods will change as part of a new European directive.

BANK Transilvania must comply with this new European directive, so that to confirm online payments made by customers, it is necessary to access the BT Pay application, or use two passwords. The first method is the simplest, customers having to access the BT Pay application when making an online payment, and confirm the respective payment from it, BANCA Transilvania offering the option of using the fingerprint to confirm the respective transaction.

BANK Transilvania it also has a second method, this one involving the use of two passwords, a dynamic one received by SMS by customers, and a second that was set by them through BT Pay. Basically, the additional step of entering the account password is introduced here, which was previously required for some payments made through the bank's internet banking platforms, only that BANCA Transilvania now imposes this step for online payments as well.

BANK Transilvania imposes this payment system for any kind of payments made online on websites that have an integrated 3D Secure system, and everything starting on January 1, 2021. If a website does not have a 3D Secure system implemented, then those from BANCA Transilvania could avoid imposing online payment authorization, or could refuse payment, as some banks do, all because of the new security measures in terms of online payments.

BANK Transilvania made this change for all customers who use its banking services in Romania at the moment, so no one "escapes" what is happening at the moment.
