The Ministry of Health has published a new information regarding the number of people who were vaccinated against the Coronavirus until January 3, 2021, inclusive, and the new figure is 13.596, increasing by only 354 new vaccinations compared to the previous day.
The Ministry of Health did not provide details regarding the decrease in vaccination rates, but it is possible that from today the number will increase radically because almost 370 vaccination centers will become active, and the authorities expect over 20.000 vaccinations daily.
"According to the data made available to CNCAV by the National Institute of Public Health, through the National Electronic Register of Vaccinations (RENV) application, which keeps track of vaccinations, the situation as of January 3, at 17.00:XNUMX p.m., is as follows:
1. Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (in the last 24 hours, first administration) – 354.
2. Total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (as of December 27, 2020, first administration) – 13.596.
3. Number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (in the last 24 hours): 1 common and minor reaction, of which:
– 0 local reactions;
– 1 general reaction.
4. Number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (as of December 27, 2020): 37 common and minor reactions, of which:
– 7 local reactions with pain at the injection site;
– 30 general reactions (fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, asthenia, urticaria type allergies).
In the interval 31.12.2020 – 02.01.2021, according to ANMDMR reports, communicated today, January 3, to the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), the number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers is 9 common and minor reactions, of which :
– 3 local reactions;
– 6 general reactions.
We make it clear that today, January 3rd, the appointments concerned medical staff on duty or on-call services.
We also note that the schedule of the vaccination centers ends at 20.00:17.00 p.m., which is why the number of vaccinations performed between 20.00:XNUMX p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. will be reflected in the following day's reporting."
