The Ministry of Health announced that another 16.306 Romanians were vaccinated against Sars-CoV-2 in Romania on January 8, 2021, the number being lower than yesterday, and still quite far from the minimum 20.000 vaccinations that should have daily place.

Adding today's vaccinations against Sars-CoV-2, a total of 92.706 people were vaccinated, and it is likely that tomorrow the figure will exceed 100.000, while the authorities hope to vaccinate against Sars-CoV-2 so many people in every day soon.

"According to the data made available to CNCAV by the National Institute of Public Health, through the National Electronic Register of Vaccinations (RENV) application, which keeps track of vaccinations, the situation as of January 8, at 17.00:XNUMX p.m., is as follows:

1. Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (in the last 24 hours, first administration) – 16.306.

2. Total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (as of December 27, 2020, first administration) – 92.706.

3. Number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (in the last 24 hours): 47 common and minor reactions, of which:

– 10 local type reactions;

– 37 general reactions.

4. Number of adverse reactions registered at the level of vaccination centers (as of December 27, 2020): 314, of which:

– 311 common and minor reactions, of which: 129 local reactions with pain at the injection site;

– 182 general reactions (fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, asthenia, urticaria type allergies);
