Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured January 8

The Coronavirus pandemic seems to have reached a plateau in Romania, so the situation seems to be stable for the time being as the number of tests done starts to increase, and this is good news for the future of our country.

Although the numbers of deaths and people admitted to intensive care due to the Coronavirus continue to be very high, the authorities are not yet thinking of imposing new restrictions, on the contrary, they are starting to discuss the relaxation of some, such as the reopening of schools and restaurants.

The vaccination campaign continues at an increasingly alert pace, and the Ministry of Health wants to accelerate the plans to vaccinate people against the Coronavirus, so that the number of cases decreases radically, and people's lives return to normal.

"Until today, January 8, on the territory of Romania, 663.799 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties.
