Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from February 5, 2021

New coronavirus cases cured February 5

The Corona virus pandemic in Romania has been in a plateau phase for some time, the authorities in our country continue to take measures that relax life in the country, and this is because from a legal point of view they are obliged to act in this way.

The numbers of deaths and people in intensive care are still low, and this is also because we have had fewer new cases of infection reported in recent months, so this evolution is as logical as possible for us now.

The Coronavirus pandemic is progressing at the same pace as we know, so things do not change from this point of view, but vaccination continues to lose strength because there are not enough doses to immunize everyone who wants to be protected.

"Until today, February 5, on the territory of Romania, 740.732 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

686.692 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 2.580 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. *Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Below you have the graph made based on the reports received by the CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:
