Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from February 14, 2021

Coronavirus Romania New Cases Cured February 14

The Coronavirus pandemic has remained in a plateau situation, something we have been seeing for some time now, and this is very good news, but it is possible that in more than a week the impact of the reopening of schools in our country will be seen.

The number of people admitted to ATI and the number of deaths still remain at values lower than those recorded in the fall of last year, all thanks to the fact that fewer new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus have been registered in the meantime.

The vaccination campaign is progressing, but not exactly as the authorities would like, and this is because there are not enough doses of vaccine for the population to be immunized in a large enough number for it to count to prevent the spread of the pandemic.

"Until today, February 14, on the territory of Romania, 761.963 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

708.151 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.872 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. *Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

**The total number of cases related to Teleorman county has been rectified.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties.
