Government of Romania Sustained increase in the number of First Dose Vaccinations

The Romanian government published today new information on how the vaccination campaign continues in Romania, the introduction of the AstraZeneca vaccine among those that can be used, bringing a sustained and maintained increase in the number of daily vaccinations.

"Daily update - record of people vaccinated against COVID-19
1. Number of doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 administered (in the last 24 hours): 43.319, to a number of 43.319 people of which:
– 19.180 people vaccinated with 1 dose;
– 24.139 people vaccinated with 2 doses.
2. Total number of doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 administered (as of December 27, 2020): 1.240.408, to a number of 734.928 people of which:
– 229.448 people vaccinated with 1 dose;
– 505.480 people vaccinated with 2 doses.
3. Total number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (in the last 24 hours): 164 common and minor reactions, of which:
– 14 local reactions;
– 150 general reactions.
4. Total number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (as of December 27, 2020):
3.234 common and minor reactions, of which:
– 601 local reactions with pain at the injection site;
– 2.633 general reactions (fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, asthenia, urticaria type allergies).
