Government of Romania: Drive-through vaccination arrives in Romania

Romanian Government Drive-through vaccination

The Romanian government announced, through the CNCAV coordinator, Valeriu Gheorghita, that drive-through vaccination will also arrive in Romania, meaning that Romanians will be able to get vaccinated even from the car, as has already been happening in various European countries for some time.

The Romanian government also says that in the next period, locations will be sought where centers of this kind can be set up, some of which are already available for testing against the Coronavirus, so others can also be made for vaccination.

"Drive thru centers are planned for the third stage. In the next period we will identify the suitable locations and, possibly, the cities where we will take into account the establishment of such a 'drive thru' type center, on the one hand, on the other hand, our immediate priority is related to the operationalization of mobile centers of vaccination to ensure the vaccination of those from rural areas, of people who do not have access to a fixed vaccination center."
