The Romanian government has officially announced a very important decision that targets millions of Romanians from all over the country, and that will help the vaccination campaign, more precisely, it allows immunization with AstraZeneca serum for people over 65 years old.
The Romanian government initially did not allow the vaccination of these people with these doses because at the international level this was not recommended, but after several researches it was concluded that the serum is safe even for these people.

We remind you that following the recommendations of the Scientific and Medical Group within the National Committee for the Coordination of Activities on Vaccination against COVID-19, of the Ministry of Health and the National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices in Romania (ANMDMR), the decision was made to waive the limit of age for administration of the vaccine produced by the company AstraZeneca."
