Valeriu Gheorghita announces the Suspension of AstraZeneca Vaccination

Valeriu Gheorghita today provided the first details regarding what will happen to Romanians vaccinated with a dose of AstraZeneca serum if vaccination is suspended in Romania, and the coordinator of the vaccination campaign said that there are two options in this situation.

Valeriu Gheorghita says that vaccination with a dose of serum from Johnson & Johnson, which is based on the same technology, is an option, while the second is vaccination with serum from Pfizer BioNTech or Moderna is the second, although here it is of a different type of vaccine.

"There are two options: either vaccination with Johnson, which is the same type of vaccine, with a viral vector, or vaccination with a Pfizer or Moderna messenger RNA vaccine. The question is whether a single dose is enough or whether a complete scheme should be done under the conditions in which we are talking about Pfizer or Moderna. If we're talking about Johnson, one dose is enough."
