According to the new director of DACIA, Mihai Bordeanu, DACIA Duster 2021 will be officially launched during this year, even if it is possible that actual sales will start next year, as happened with DACIA Logan 3, announced in 2020, and launched in 2021.
DACIA Duster 2021 it will come with an automatic gearbox, according to the DACIA director, which means that the Romanians will have new experiences, but it is not about the CVT box in DACIA Logan 3. In the same way, DACIA Duster 2021 will come with some other equipment new to differentiate it from the current model, but the platform will remain the same, 2nd generation, and it is unlikely that there will be major changes to the appearance of the car now.

DACIA Duster 2021 could be launched with the Media Control system by the Romanian manufacturer, facilitating the interconnection of phones to benefit from a new guided navigation experience, and not only that. Apart from these, it is possible to see what has already been implemented in other DACIA Duster models that are sold in other countries around the world, so the DACIA Duster 2021 should be more similar to those, if no other decisions have been made in terms of production.

However, it should be taken into account that the 2021 DACIA Duster could be the last with all-wheel drive, and this is because the future models, made on the CMF-B platform, would not be offered with all-wheel drive, but only with 2×4 drive, to reduce production costs.
