Record of Coronavirus Vaccinations Announced April 13, 2021

A new record of vaccinations against the Coronavirus was announced on April 13 in Romania, and we are talking about a substantial increase, of over 14.000 doses administered daily, in relation to the previous record, the highest so far.

76.590 doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus were administered in Romania in the last 24 hours, closer to the goal of 100.000 that the Romanian authorities have imposed, stating that there is a capacity to vaccinate 115.000 people daily.

1. Number of doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 administered (in the last 24 hours): 76.590, to a number of 76.590 people of which:
– 46.171 people vaccinated with 1 dose;
– 30.419 people vaccinated with 2 doses.
2. Total number of doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 administered (as of December 27, 2020): 3.838.804, to a number of 2.372.655 people of which:
– 906.506 people vaccinated with 1 dose;
– 1.466.149 people vaccinated with 2 doses.
3. Total number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (in the last 24 hours): 119 common and minor reactions, of which:
– 14 local reactions;
– 105 general reactions.
4. Total number of adverse reactions recorded at the level of vaccination centers (as of December 27, 2020):
12.357 common and minor reactions (3,2/1000 administered doses), of which:
– 1.241 local reactions with pain at the injection site;
– 11.116 general reactions (fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, asthenia, urticaria type allergies).
