Netflix has signed a partnership with cinemas in the US to premiere its new film Army of the Dead in them before the title is also offered through its own platform. We are talking about a radical change that Netflix is making, for the movie Army of the Dead, and this in the conditions that until now the platform has released its titles directly on the streaming platform for everyone, without giving priority to any cinema.

Netflix decided to take this step in order to be able to bring other older titles to US cinemas, and this is because the lack of new films from the big production houses, or their release exclusively online, is a problem. The big cinema chains do not have enough content to attract customers to their locations, so they decide to enter into partnerships of this kind to bring new titles from Netflix, and probably from other streaming platforms.
Netflix will make more money through partnerships like this, while the big movie theater chains will give people access to movies they wouldn't normally be able to see. From here, both parties win, less subscribers who pay for Netflix content, and that's because others get to see that content before them, it's right at a higher price for a single movie, but even so, an old strategy of for years it is about to change completely.
