Valeriu Gheorghita: Mobile Vaccination Teams in Romanian Villages

Valeriu Gheorghita Mobile Vaccination Teams Villages of Romania

Valeriu Gheorghita announced that mobile vaccination teams will travel to the villages of Romania to vaccinate those who are vulnerable to the Coronavirus, and who do not otherwise have access to the serum that can protect them against a possible infection.

Valeriu Gheorghita says that this is how the City Vaccinates the Village concept was put into practice, one that has been talked about several times up to now, but which is only now being implemented with difficulty by the authorities.

"An important element that we have in mind - the transition from vaccination in fixed centers to vaccination in the center and through mobile teams. Here we are talking about the concept "The city vaccinates the village". Every day, a mobile team will be in a commune, in a rural locality in the next period, so that, by the end of August, in the more than 2.862 communes in Romania we will have mobile teams to ensure the population's access to vaccination, to prepare us very well for the next period, which may be associated with another wave of diseases. The tendency is to mobilize mobile teams as much as possible, especially to rural areas."
