Coronavirus Romania: Only 0.1% of those Vaccinated became Infected

Coronavirus Romania Only 0.1 Vaccinated Infected

New data from the INSP published today by the Secretary of State Andrei Baciu show us that only 0.1% of Romanians fully vaccinated against the Coronavirus got infected more than 2 weeks after vaccination, when they had maximum protection, and this shows how important vaccination is to stop the pandemic.

"The data centralized by INSP show us very clearly what vaccination means: only 0,1% of those who did the complete immunization schedule got infected!
Since we started the vaccination campaign and until June 6, only 4.718 people vaccinated with both doses have tested positive for SARS-COV2. That means 0,1% of the total of those who did the full vaccination schedule. 1.231 people contracted the virus in the first 7 days after the booster, and 2.382 people became infected a month or more after vaccination with the second dose.
For the same period, only 0,5% of all those vaccinated with the first dose became infected. 64,6% of them became infected in the first 14 days after receiving the first dose of the anti-covid vaccine.
What you need to know:
if a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19 and becomes infected later, the immune system recognizes the virus, even after the first dose;
already having the post-vaccination antibodies, that person's immune system will be able to provide protection against the COVID-19 disease;
maximum protection is reached approximately 2 weeks after completing the full regimen;
the risk of developing a serious form of the disease decreases after vaccination.
The vaccine protects you! You can go to a vaccination center today!”
