WhatsApp has a series of very important changes officially announced for iPhone and Android right now, the American company wanting to give users the opportunity to enjoy something completely new. More specifically, the president of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, officially announced that WhatsApp will launch, initially in the US, a new function that will allow users to buy various products from existing stores within its platform.
WhatsApp has this very important change made gradually by those from Facebook for iPhone and Android phones, it will be available with a later update. WhatsApp will include the virtual stores of the interested companies in a special section called Shops, and from there we will even be able to buy any products we want, directly from the application, without going to the website of the stores that sell these products through the platform.

WhatsApp has this very important change shown in the image above, the new stores will be able to be created by companies through WhatsApp Business. Those from Facebook already have a similar functionality offered within Instagram and the social media platform, so within WhatsApp they only bring what was missing until now, but nothing more, so we are not talking about an absolute novelty, but just about a not very surprising decision.
WhatsApp is trying to bring services of this kind to as many people as possible during this period, and of course it has the possibility to increase the interest of companies vis-à-vis the messaging platform. WhatsApp is trying new ways to generate money from the platform without including ads everywhere, something that would annoy a lot of people, as you probably already know, so its decision to do what it is doing now is one intended to exempt from ads.
WhatsApp will offer updates for iPhone and Android in order to implement this new functionality, so we just have to see how long it will take until it becomes available.
