Raed Arafat: The decision regarding the Restrictions for the Unvaccinated on the Weekend

Raed Arafat spoke about the measure aimed at introducing restrictions for unvaccinated people on weekends, the head of the DSU stating that the logic behind it is based on the fact that certain locations are congested on weekends.

Raed Arafat says that this measure is intended to protect vaccinated people from choking when they go to crowded areas on the weekend, but that it has not yet been adopted, as a decision is expected in the next period.

"The argument is very simple, it is the overcrowding of the respective areas, but now whether this will happen or not, of course, you heard what the Prime Minister said, we are still waiting for the proposals to come, for the discussions to come and let's see what the final decisions are.

But where this rule was applied - because it was applied in other areas of the world - was the argument that during weekend periods certain areas are more crowded than on normal weekdays, but that's it. As the Prime Minister said, and I repeat, they are expected to come up with concrete proposals for decision-making."
