The Romanian Police Continues to Monitor the A2 Highway from Helicopter

The Romanian Police continues to use one of its helicopters to monitor the heavy traffic on the A2 highway every weekend, and these days the aviators are still present in the sky to see what the traffic situation is in this area of Romania.

The Romanian Police has been using this helicopter for some time to monitor the traffic towards the sea on the A2 highway, or the one towards the mountains, on the DN1, depending on the season and traffic trends, so that from the air the police officers alert their colleagues on the ground about possible observed problems.

"This weekend, on the Romanian coast, there are approximately 250.000 tourists.
Most of them reached the sea, traveling on the A2 highway.
Thanks to the colleagues who made sure everyone got to the beach safely.
We would like to thank all the drivers who followed the traffic rules and the instructions of the traffic police and thus avoided road accidents.
PS: This weekend, no person died, as a result of being involved in a road accident, on the highways in Romania."
