WhatsApp has decided to implement a very important measure that will have an impact on billions of phones around the world, and it is one that all users of the messaging platform should know about right now. More precisely, those at WhatsApp intend to allow us the possibility to transfer conversations between iPhone and Android phones, but there will also be certain restrictions imposed on users from all over the world.
WhatsApp surprised a lot of people with the decision it made for iPhone and Android users, and although many people were happy to learn about it, it is possible that the joy will be short-lived. The transfer of conversations from iPhone to Android phones will be restricted by WhatsApp only for certain models of phones, i.e. Samsung's, and only if they have Android 10, and in the case of iPhone it is not known what the restrictions will be.

WhatsApp has discovered the new functionality for some time, and below you can see what kind of restrictions have been discovered so far in terms of data transfer. For now, only certain Samsung phones can transfer data in the beta version of the WhatsApp application for Android, and only if they have version 10 of the operating system, but it is not known for which others the new functionality will be offered.

WhatsApp should work intensively to extend this functionality including to Android phones from other manufacturers, so it is possible that the new functionality will initially be launched with limited availability. If this happens, it is not known how long it will take for WhatsApp to extend its availability to other manufacturers, on various phone models, so Android users must be extremely patient with this major change.
WhatsApp has not yet said anything about this new functionality, so we just have to see what will be offered by the American company for use in phones.
