5.36 million Romanians were vaccinated until September 18, 2021 by the Romanian authorities, the figure representing a little over 30% of the total number of Romanians who could be immunized against the Coronavirus with the help of current serums.
The figure is very small compared to the objective of 10 million vaccinated Romanians that the authorities announced many months ago, and this is felt in the large number of infections that are registered during this period throughout Romania.
