This week was one of the records of infections with the Coronavirus in Romania, and this is because we talked again about very high numbers regarding the cases in our country, all because there is still a small number of vaccinated people and the Delta variant remains still extremely contagious.

COVID-19 situation in the last 24 hours:
7.676 new infections with SARS CoV 2;
297 people confirmed and hospitalized;
79 people confirmed and hospitalized in ATI;
121 people died.
At the moment:
8.657 people are hospitalized in wards, of which 247 are minors;
1.195 people are hospitalized in ATI, of which 17 are minors.
Vaccination remains the best solution for protection against COVID-19!
By vaccination against COVID-19:
- the risk of infection is reduced;
- the risk of virus transmission is reduced;
– the risk of hospitalization is considerably reduced;
- the risk of death is considerably reduced."
