Planet Jupiter: AMAZING VIDEO, Very Important Mystery

The planet Jupiter is again at the center of the world's attention after a video made by scientists reveals something that they still cannot explain very clearly to all of humanity. More precisely, in the video clip above you can see the traces left in space by the auroras that the moons near the planet Jupiter have, something that scientists cannot explain for now, but something that is very important for understanding the planet.

The planet Jupiter has a magnetic field 20.000 times stronger than that of the Earth, and this is the reason why the auroras in the video clip above are visible to scientists. The magnetic field that the planet Jupiter has is so strong and covers such a great distance that not even the moons of the planet can escape its effects, as you can already see, but the discovery was not an easy one.

Planet Jupiter: AMAZING VIDEO, Very Important Mystery

The planet Jupiter has many moons that are in its orbit, but the most important of them are Io, Europa, Ganymede, and all of them are affected by this very important magnetic field that surrounds it. All three moons produce very strong effects in the auroras that are visible to the planet Jupiter as it moves through this magnetic field, and scientists are now looking with great interest at what is happening there.

"As Jupiter's magnetic field rotates faster than the orbit of the Galilean moons, the moons are continuously swept by the Jovian magnetic field and co-rotating magnetospheric plasma. This interaction triggers an electromagnetic coupling of plasma in the magnetosphere with the ionized portion of Jupiter's atmosphere known as the ionosphere."

The planet Jupiter has had these interactions between its moons and the auroras since 1998, but it was only when the Juno space probe reached its orbit that clearer images of what is happening there were recorded. Now scientists are trying to find explanations for what they sell near the planet Jupiter, but there are many observations to be made in order to understand more clearly everything that is visible in the images that scientists observe.

The planet Jupiter will continue to be monitored very carefully by scientists, so it only remains to see what will be revealed by them in the not too distant future.
