Planet Mercury: INCREDIBLE Premiere, Totally Stunned Mankind

Planet Mercury sounds

The planet Mercury has revealed for the first time an incredible historical discovery made by scientists, and for the first time they managed to reveal to mankind the sounds that are heard there. Below you can hear what ESA scientists listened to when the BepiColombo spacecraft approached the planet Mercury and began to fly over it, and the sounds represent something that many did not think they would ever hear from there.

The planet Mercury is the closest to the sun, and in the recording below you will hear the solar winds recorded in its immediate vicinity, something that has not been done until now. This is not the first record made for solar winds in the solar system, those from NASA already have others with their own space probes, but this is the first record made near the planet Mercury, and it is something for which the ESA can be praised.

Planet Mercury: INCREDIBLE Premiere, Totally Stunned Mankind

The planet Mercury has been flown by the BepiColombo space probe for less than a month, and the recording below is just one of the many discoveries that will be made there. The space probe is meant to remain for several years in orbit near the planet Mercury in order to reveal to humanity more of the secrets that are still hidden there, and there are many unknowns that scientists want to detail.

The planet Mercury has never been at the center of such a long-term mission, even if in the past space probes of NASA, as well as of the Russians, were in the orbit of the planet for extended periods of time. The planet Mercury can be a source of very important discoveries in the future, but scientists still want to be able to explain many of the really important unknowns.

The planet Mercury will have the BepiColombo space probe in its orbit only starting with the year 2024 or 2025, so only then will more impressive discoveries begin.
