Klaus Iohannis says that Romania must go through a new series of restrictions, not a general quarantine yet, because the situation has reached a point where there are no other solutions so that the number of new cases can be controlled by the authorities .
"As of today, 18.863 Romanian hearts beat with fear of the unknown, with the fear that they are sick with COVID-19. 574 Romanian hearts stopped beating because they lost the fight with this killer virus. People who were enjoying life and making plans for the future are now leaving behind the tears and despair of those who mourn their deaths. 1805 Romanians are fighting minute by minute for every breath, for every mouthful of air.
Vaccination is the only solution to stop the spread of the virus. I decided to convene a meeting with all those responsible involved in the management of the pandemic for the establishment of clear, restrictive measures, the only ones that can reduce the spread of infections at this moment. In addition, the urgent adoption by the Parliament of the green certificate is needed. Dear Romanians, get vaccinated!
